BlogTools

In the installation folder of the application, you will find an executable called BlogTools.exe.

Attention: Before starting the application, it is necessary to close all BusinessLog windows, stop the BlogService service, and verify that there are no active Blogxxxxx.exe or BusinessSysLog.exe processes.

This window allows you to perform the following operations:

  • Move the database: In version 2022, it is possible to place the database in a location different from the default. To move it, select a new location (using the “lens” icon) and click [Move].

  • Compact databases: Over time, databases naturally grow in size. You can compact any database                (a backup will be created automatically), and the progress bar will indicate how much space has been saved.

  • Backup: Creates a backup of the selected database in the same folder.

  • Repair: Performs a repair (also preventive) on the specified database.
