Privacy Policy

BusinessLog collects the following data from the internal network where it is installed:

  • IP address and computer name of each machine connected within the configured IP range

  • Account names of users logging in from Windows Event Logs

  • Account names of users logging in from Syslog of compatible devices

  • Applications installed on Windows machines (if enabled)

  • Name and path of files registered through log file collection (if enabled and configured)

  • Name and path of files registered from external device logs (if enabled and configured)

  • Names of users specified as System Administrators, as configured in the Administrators List table

  • Email addresses configured for email broadcasts

  • Telegram Chat IDs configured for transmission to the bot

All data is recorded locally in the VistaDB database (protected and encrypted).
If the Cloud Backup option is enabled, logs are also replicated to our Data Center.
Transmission is encrypted using a dedicated Microsoft certificate.

BusinessLog collects and communicates externally only the following data:

  • User ID, server name, and public IP address sent to the license server

  • Full logs, administrators list, machine list, and installed software sent to the cloud data center (only if enabled and configured) – transmission is encrypted

  • Public IP address, email accounts, and technical email details sent to the email server (if enabled and configured)

  • Account name, Chat ID, and Bot ID for communications with Telegram

  • Azure Tenant: for Azure log collection or authorization requests for O365

  • Individual logs sent to OpenAI: only for information requests forwarded to the AI. Logs forwarded to OpenAI are retained for 30 days

Transmissions:

  • Logs are written with AES-256 encryption, including temporary files

  • Email traffic is encrypted with SSL certificates (for internal BusinessLog accounts)

  • Traffic to Telegram is encrypted with TLS 1.2

  • Traffic to OpenAI is encrypted with TLS 1.2

  • Logs saved in the Data Center are encrypted with TLS 1.2 using Microsoft Azure certificates

  • Authorization requests to the Azure Tenant are encrypted with SSL certificates
