Automatic PC Inventory: At the end of each scan, the program will update the PC inventory of the machines detected on the network using NetBios (make sure it is enabled on the server machine).

Enable PC search from IP scan: Enable auto-recognition from “step-by-step” scanning for each IP, you need to set a start IP and an end IP, and it is especially useful if you use different subnets.

MultiDomain:  In case you need to import the full name (PCNAME.DOMAIN.COM) if disabled

import the simple name (PCNAME).

 

WARNING: To be used ONLY in the presence of a MULTI-DOMAIN network, activating it later you could find many duplicate machines in the machine list (with and without suffix).

Import machine names from exported Windows DNS file: Allows you to import a list of hosts

from the standard Windows DNS export (from the DC server).

Import machine names from file: It is similar to the DNS function but allows you to import machine names from a “free” list using other tools as well. The file format must be a single column, e.g.:

If you want to scan machines with one or more IP ranges, click the edit button:

Alert if no logs received for XX days: allows you to mark the machine in alert if for XX days chosen, no logs

are received.
