Settings and Configuration

Clicking on the sections will open the relevant windows or functions:

• Domain or group (automatic, no need to specify)

• Software/Hardware Inventories: The program will detect additional machine information (programs, updates, CPU, operating system, etc.)

• Delete Logs from Remote PC: Allows you to delete the "Application" and "Security" logs on client PCs to speed up future scans.

• Delete Access Logs Older than XX Months: At the end of each scan, the program will delete access logs older than XX months, as set (minimum number is 6).

• Delete Log Files Older than XX Months: At the end of each scan, the program will delete access logs for files older than XX months, as set (minimum 6).

• Exclude Storage Accesses: Prevents recording of "special logins" performed by backup software.

• Enable Viewer: If selected, allows the Name Pipes server to be started and the Viewer version to be installed on the network to be connected.

• Working Log Retention Days: Days in which logs are retained for the WorkingLog grid (30 days is recommended; DO NOT set retention to less than 14 days to ensure effective Machine Learning monitoring)

• Service Status: Refers to the BlogService service; you can also stop or start the service here.

• Language: Language into which BusinessLog is translated. English-language software may be offered on English operating systems. You can convert it to Italian here (requires a program restart).

• Standard Working Hours: Indicates the "standard" company office hours. This is used to inform Machine Learning when to consider an event "out of hours."
