Problems of scan
By opening Lists > List Machines, you can view the scan status:

-
GREEN = Last scan successful
-
RED = Last scan failed
-
YELLOW = Scan in progress
⚠️ Pay attention to machines marked in RED with 0 logs: these machines have never been scanned, and the system is unable to fetch logs from them.
By opening Lists > Internal Events, you can also find an internal log about the possible issue.

Perform a search for the machine in question (using the search box at the top right) and view the error by clicking the “envelope” icon [A].

This error indicates that the remote machine is not responding. The possible reasons could be:
-
The machine is turned off
-
The machine is not reachable
-
The RemoteRegistry service is stopped or disabled on the target machine
-
A firewall is blocking the connection between server and client
-
The target machine is not updated with KB5003637 (June 2021 updates)
Apart from checking if the machine is turned on and reachable (which can be verified with a simple ping), a good method of verification is to use Event Viewer.
Open Event Viewer and click on the top menu: Action > Connect to another computer:

Here you can specify the machine name and, if necessary, set a domain-admin user (to test the same connection, you can use the same user configured in the BlogService service).
After a short while, you will obtain:

Depending on the connection issue, a message will be displayed on the screen.
Example:

In this case, the Windows Firewall is blocking the connection to the target machine. Verify that the GPOs are applied correctly and that the target machine has no issues updating with the domain GPOs.
Once you can correctly view the logs of the remote machine, the connection with BusinessLog will also be possible.
